Since the beginning of lockdown in March 2020, the Co-SPACE study has been tracking parents, children, and young people’s mental health.
The Co-SPACE survey is for parents/carers of children and young people aged 4-16 years and there is also an opportunity for young people aged 11-16 to report on themselves. The Co-SPYCE survey is for parents/carers of pre-school children aged 2-4 years. Each involves a baseline survey (15-20 minutes) and monthly follow-up surveys (around 10 minutes).
We are also inviting parents/carers and young people, as well as people who work with children and young people, to take part in an interview about their experiences during the pandemic.
The results will help us understand:
- How families are coping during the pandemic
- What helps children’s mental health
- What parents/carers can do to support their children’s mental health at this time
