The Co-SPACE study tracked parents, children, and young people’s mental health between March 2020 and July 2021.
The Co-SPACE survey was for parents/carers of children and young people aged 4-16 years and there was also an opportunity for young people aged 11-16 to report on themselves. The Co-SPYCE survey was for parents/carers of pre-school children aged 2-4 years. We also invited parents/carers and young people, as well as people who work with children and young people, to take part in an interview about their experiences during the pandemic.
In 2021, we will be expanding on a collaboration with a team from Japan who have been doing similar work. We now have funding to continue our work together over another 3 years.
